Founders building tough tech: Operator access is on the house.

If you are actively building a tech startup in a science-advantaged area such as energy, robotics, space, defense, or advanced manufacturing, email jmill@endeff.com from your company domain and tell me about the challenge you’re solving and why. I will set up complimentary Operator access. This is a standing policy, not a program. No application form. The Principals and Operators paying for The End Effector are the reason this path exists—it is coalition economics to help the next generation of tough tech champions, and it’s part of our public-benefit educational endeavour.

Common questions

Is Telemetry going behind a paywall?
No. Telemetry stays free, biweekly, and publicly archived. Paid membership adds depth to what you already read; it does not fence off what you already read.
What is Downrange, exactly?
An operational calendar for frontier technology: launches, deadlines, policy windows, funding cycles, and events that matter to founders, investors, and researchers. Operator members get a private feed that auto-updates in whatever calendar app you use.
What is a Thrust?
A Thrust is TEE’s long-form investigation of a specific problem in frontier tech. Every Thrust has a public thesis essay that anyone can read and a deeper analytical layer gated for paying members. Beyond Hydraulics and Space for Earthlings are the two Thrusts currently in the library; more are in production.
What is Scramble?
TEE’s rapid-response engagement product for firms whose portfolios or operations need analysis applied to a specific situation in days rather than weeks. Priority access is included with Principal; also available as a standalone engagement at standard rates via /engagements.
Can I try Operator before committing to a year?
Yes. Monthly billing is $300 a month. The first month includes a 14-day refund window if Operator is not the right fit for you.
How do I cancel?
Any time, from your membership page. If you cancel, you retain access through the end of your current billing period.
